This honey isn’t the product of a plant’s nectar, but rather of tree sap (which sparkles in the sunlight attracting bees, thus named honeydew) which the bees then collect and transform into this unique and rare product. It’s an intricate process and we only trust our rural farmer partners for its authenticity. It has a dark hue with intense, earthy flavour. This is not floral honey and thus its composition also differs as much. It has a higher antioxidant, antibacterial and amino acid composition.
