About the Authors Dr. Uma Shankar is a young, energetic and dedicated scientist. Currently, he is serving as Assistant Professor in Division of Entomology, Shere-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu, India. Dr. Shankar has vast experience and expertise in Economic Entomology, Applied Entomology, Biological Control and Pest Management. He has delivered several lectures on Pest Managemet of Field crops, Vegetable crops and tropical and temperate Fruit crops to Junior Agriculture Officers, Field functionaries, Extension workers and farmers to promote and enhance the adoptability of Integrated Pest Management. He is also handling externally funded projects on vegetables. Dr. Satya Priya is a young and dynamic scientist. He has not only some reputed publications to his credit but has also delivered several lectures to the resource personel for disseminating the IPM modules and their implementation at farmer’s field condition. His ultimate aim is to convince and serve the farmers for adoption of the IPM modules for sustainable development of Indian Farming. Dr. Deepak Kumar who is an energetic and enthusiastic scientist has an excellent academic track records and has delivered many talks on radio and television on different aspects of Plant Pathology. He has worked with many Institutes in many capacities. He has to his credit many research papers in several journals of repute. Presently, he is serving as Assistant Professor in the Division of Plant Pathology, Shere-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture & Technology, Jammu.
