Dimorphotheca Sinuata is more commonly known as the African Daisy. These plants are grown mostly from seeds. You can start your plants indoors about 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost in your area. However, it is advisable to sow the seeds outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. African Daisy seeds are sown early in the season and covered with a light layer of fine garden or potting soil. Since these plants can tolerate a bit of crowding, you can space your plants 10 inches apart from each other.African Daisies require full sun and grow their best in sandy loam, light, well-drained soil. The seeds will start germinating within 10 to 20 days after planting. While planting, apply an all-purpose fertilizer to the plants, then repeat the process once a month after that. Water the plants regularly, keeping the soil moist. Avoid getting the leaves wet since African Daisies are prone to fungal diseases.
