Vijayi Bhav is the Hindi translation of You are Born to Blossom by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and Arun Kumar Tiwari. It is an account of how Dr. Kalam visualizes a new, developed India that can be built by using facilities like education and technology. Summary of the Book In this title, Dr. Kalam presents his dream of schools in India, by 2020, as symbiotic nerve centres connecting teachers, students and different communities, and personifying knowledge that exists in the world. He also makes a clarion call to quicken the process of societal transformation – raising the standards of political governance and preserving the sacredness of public institutions. The book uses the metaphor of a tree to explain the process of knowledge bearing fruits of prosperity in the modern globalized world. It refers to a contextual involvement of a large number of Indian scientists and artists and proves that age has never been a yardstick to blossom in life. He asserts that creation of conditions that support growth of diverse individual talents is similar to that of creating a garden. He earnestly calls for a scientific mindset directed by conscience, accord and by actions that take our social and ethical principles into account in building our own progressive systems.
