Vision 2025 Socio Economic Inequalities - Why Does India's Economic Growth Need An Inclusive Agenda: A team of researchers/ scholars studied the situation of Muslims and made concerted efforts to look at what the immediate future holds for the minorities in general and the Muslims in particular in India. The book gives an in-depth view to build a perspective and a vision for the deprived classes. The book is a compilation based on interviews conducted with a large number of stakeholders and articles/ papers contributed by several experts on the subject. All this and a nationwide survey has gone into this report studying both the issues of deprivation and discrimination. This brings together various views and debates on the subject. Questions regarding access to education, healthcare, housing, jobs and livelihood were asked to large cross section of society, analyzed and presented in this research based work. The book has been edited by Amir Ullah Khan and Abdul Azim Akhtar. The analytical papers and articles have been contributed by scholars like Muqtedar Khan, SY Quraishi, Jawed Alam Khan, Abdul Shaban, Ram Punyani, Irfan Engineer, Britta Ohm, Vibhuti Narayan Rai, MD Nalapat, Shafeeq Rahman, Abdul Azim Akhtar, Manjur Ali, Rakhshandah Hani, Vibhuti Patel, Broto Rauth Bharadwaj, Zafar Mahfooz Nomani, Yousuf Saeed and Amir Ullah Khan. It serves a good piece of academic and reference material on the subject.
