Vision In White is the first book in the Bride Quartet by the author. It follows the lives and love of a group of four friends who run a wedding planning company. Summary Of The Book Vision In White takes the reader into the lives of four childhood friends, Parker, Laurel, Mackensie, and Emmaline, who run Vows, a premier wedding planning company in Connecticut. Although they have helped many happy couples in organizing the most important day of their lives, the four friends, ironically, have always been unlucky in love. Things are about to change for the commitment phobic Mackensie, the photographer in the group, when she meets Carter Maguire, an English teacher and the brother of a bride-to-be at a wedding rehearsal. He is certainly not her type, but a casual fling is what she thinks she needs at the moment. But casual flings are notorious to turn into something bigger when least expected and Mackensie will have to take the help of her three friends and business partners in finding her own fairytale ending. Vision In White is a romantic novel that has its share of drama in the form of a jealous ex-girlfriend who would do anything to keep the main protagonist Mackensie from getting her hands on her man. It takes the reader along a journey where she has to fight the demons from her past owing to a less than happy childhood and a strained relationship with her mother that stops her from trusting men. The author has teamed up with I-Play, a computer gaming company to develop a game based on this book. About Nora Roberts Nora Roberts is a bestselling author of over 200 romance novels. She is the author of books like Taming Natasha, The Next Always, Waiting For Nick, Considering Kate and The MacGregor Grooms. Roberts was born on October 10, 1950, in Silver Spring, Maryland. Before turning into an author, she had worked as a legal secretary for a short period of time.
