In Dorothea Brande's book, Wake Up and Live, she deals with the topic of failure in four chapters out of twelve chapters. Though so much time and emphasis is placed on failure, you do not feel exhausted reading the book. But you get a better insight into what failure means, how it manifests and how to turn it around into success. Brande illustrates how to make the most of a bad situation by identifying what one can learn from a particular circumstance. This perspective is useful for those who are struggling with their impulse to retreat and fail instead.
