This book covers the area of England from the Derbyshire Peak District, through the industrial South Pennines around Heptonstall and Hebden Bridge to Pendle - the hill of witches - in Lancashire. The text is a mixture of folklore, anecdote and descriptions of some wonderful walks along the high ridges.
