This compendium of 37 papers, presented at the Fifth BAG Conference, held at the Department of Geography, T.M. Bhagalpur, University, Bhagalpur, addresses a variety of issues pertaining to water resource utilization and management. It discusses at length the problems of water supply for the purpose of irrigation, drinking and industrial uses.
