Born on the 18th of May, 1872, Bertrand Russell was passionate about mathematics from a young age. He graduated from Trinity College, where he engaged in pacifist activities, and was dismissed due to them. He married Alys in 1894 and later divorced her to marry a Russian socialist Dora Black. He discovered Russell's paradox at Trinity College, a theory that challenged the set theory. He was presented with the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1950. He won many scholarships and distinctions. He was married four times, and died in 1970 at the age of 97.
