The Birth of the Christ was a monumental and spiritual event and the animals at every corner of the birth before and after were there to witness this great occurrence. We follow the steps of Joseph and Mary from Nazareth to Bethlehem through the eyes of Nestor the donkey who carried Mary, animals on the journey and the animals at the place of birth including a troubled cat.
