Andy and Marnie are delighted when they get a free souvenir from HorrorLand’s Chiller House. However, they’re in for a scare when they discover that the gift has resulted in mysterious howling at night. Summary of the Book Marnie and Andy are only twelve and are very excited about their visit to HorrorLand. They may have had a scary encounter with Murder the Clown and a mob of zombies, but they think that it was totally worth it. They feel like they have more reasons to celebrate when they get a free souvenir from HorrorLand’s Chiller House. When the shopkeeper gives it to them, he tells them that they will have to pay later, but the twelve year olds are least bothered. They are even told that the hound’s tooth is haunted and they need to beware. As it can grant wishes, they think that it is okay for them to take that risk. However, they’re in for trouble when they start to hear howling at night and Marnie starts to behave in a weird way. They begin to realize that accepting the gift was probably the worst idea ever.
