Whiskey Beach – There’s Nowhere Left to Run is a novel written by Nora Roberts. Summary of the Book Eli Landon is named the prime suspect when his wife is found murdered after confessing an affair. Before this devastating incident, his life had seemed to be perfect with a beautiful wife, a brilliant legal career and a wonderful house. Even though the court acquits him, he is constantly annoyed by the media. His friends abandon him and a detective with a grudge is hounding after him. He moves to a small town sanctuary of Whiskey Beach to get away from all this. He meets the mysterious, yet compassionate and courageous Abra Walsh there. And just when a budding romance is felt between the two, an enemy is determined to ruin it all for Landon. About Nora Roberts Nora Roberts is the author of books like Taming Natasha, The Next Always, Waiting for Nick, and Considering Kate. She was born on October 10, 1950, in Maryland. Before becoming an author, she had worked as a legal secretary. She is the founding member of the Romance Writers of America, and is known for being the first inductee in its Hall of Fame. She was honoured with the RWA Lifetime Achievement Award, which was later renamed as the RWA Nora Roberts Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008. She has also been awarded the Golden Medallion Award, the Quill Award and the RITA Award. Recently, she was called "America’s favorite novelist" by The New Yorker.
