When the world is being crushed by a hellish army that now rules as an oppressor, one man must rise to the dire occasion in order to save everyone from annihilation. The latest installment in the Wolfenstein game series, Wolfenstein: The New Order is a single-player first-person shooter action game that was developed by MachineGames for the PC. Having received a rating of 18 from PEGI, this game is set during the 1960s in a parallel universe where the Nazis won World War 2 and hence rule the world with a formidable iron fist. William “B.J” Blazkowicz, a reputed agent of the covert US-based defense organization OSA (Office of Secret Actions), is suffering from amnesia after the events that occurred in this game’s prequel. After escaping the asylum that he was put in, Blazkowicz finds the world to be on the brink of doom as he sees that the Nazis have created superweapons to repress the populace of the world. Running on an id Tech 5 engine, the gameplay involves the player controlling William “B.J” Blazkowicz who has to infiltrate Nazi strongholds, combat hordes of enemies, and utilize powerful weapons of mass destruction in order to clear each level which gets progressively difficult. A new health system has been implemented which is divided into separate sections, each of which replenish themselves over time. However, if an entire section is lost, the player must use a health pack to regain the missing health.
