About the Author Dr. Vinnie Jauhari is the Region Lead for India for HP Labs Open Innovation Office. She is a also Adjunct Professor at Institute for International Management and Technology. She completed M.Sc (Hons.) in Electronics from Panjab University, Chandigarh and MBA (Gold Medalist) (Marketing) from FMS Udaipur. She received her Ph.D. on Corporate Entrepreneurship from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and her Post-Doc from the United Nations Unversity, Tokyo in the area of Technology and Sociery. She was earlier the Head of the School of Management and Entrepreneurship at IIMT. She is also the founding editor of the Journal of Services Research, which features in the EBSCO database. She has over 100 publications in National and international Journals and has also authored books such as Business Strategy, Services Management, Readings in Services Management, Global Case Studies in Hospitality Industry. Her area of expertise are Corporate Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management and Technology issues. She is widely traveled and has been a speaker at numerous International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management. Charla Griffy-Brown, Ph.D., is currently an Associate Professor of Information Systems and holds the Denny Endowed Chair at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management. In 2004, she received a research award from the International Association for the Management of Technology, which recognized her as one of the most active and prolofic researchers in the Technology Management and Innovation field. A former researcher at the Foundation for Advanced Studies on International Development, Tokyo, Dr. Griffy-Brown has also served as an associate professor at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Dr. Giffy-Brown graduated from Harvard University, is a former Fulbright Scholar, and holds a Ph.D. in Technology Management from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia. She has worked for NASA at the Kennedy Space Centre and served as a consultant for the United Nation's Global Environmental Facility and the European Commission. Dr. Gfiffy-Brown has conducted research at companies such as Honda, Hilton Hotels and Pratt-Whitney Rocketdyne/Boeing and Touchstone and Touchstone. She has also worked extensively with small and medium-sized business in Asia and the United States. She has a passion for assisting women entrepreneurs create successful business. Dr. Griffy-Brown's research has been funded by an SAP University Alliance Grant and the Rothschild Research Endowment. She has also had research support from the Pepperdine Voyager/Lilly Foundation as well as the Graziadio School of Business Funds for Excellence. She is currently part of a global research team analyzing the fragility of critical infrastructure in the area of information systems security with the international Institute of Applied Systems Analysis, Vienna, Australia.
