Why this small book on Sikhism when there is abundant literature already available in the market? Obviously, the objective of this work is to highlight the following aspects with which the Sikh Sangat may not be generally familiar: • Disposal of mortal remains of Guru Nanak, and its spiritual implications; • Gurudwara “Pather Sahib” in the deep Himalayas in Leh-Ladakh; • Concept of “Nanak Lama”; • Guru Nanak on a sort of Haj pilgrimage to Mecca, Medina, Baghdad and other Muslim shrines.
