The world’s leaders agreed to take actions on a range of global challenges at the United Nations Headquarters, New York in 2005. These challenges were: development, terrorism, peace building, peace keeping and peacemaking, responsibility to protect the common man, human rights, democracy and rule of law, management reform, and depletion of environment, health hazards, humanitarian assistance, and updating United Nations charter. But we feel that there should more emphasis on inter-country and intra-country friendship and dialogue for achieving peace everywhere. We have to strive hard to make ‘One world family’ concept a reality. If one country believes that it is superior to all other countries, world peace would be delayed. The manuscript on “Country and Peace” has Seven chapters, which deals with: World Peace: A call of Heaven, Asian Drama, Foreign policy and Peace, Friendship among nations, Countries without peace, War must be avoided and World Peace is possible.
