The manuscript on WORLD PEACE Volume FOURTEEN highlights on ‘Democracy and Peace’. The study is intended to ascertain whether there is any possibility of clean governance by politicians even in democratic countries. Today, democracy has become a ladder to earn more funds and more power by appeasing the Party President in all countries. The simple technique is to become a ‘Yes Man’ of the boss. Once, the boss is convinced that ‘you are his man and his follower’, your position is assured in the party and you are assured of a Party Ticket in the forthcoming election. Moreover, you have to go to your constituency frequently to contact the village leaders for friendship and let them know that you are a politician and a jewel in your area of birth. The greatest hurdle is to be assured of a party ticket. A sincere man gets a party ticket within 10 years; but there are persons who never get party ticket throughout their life. Democracy offers the best form of governance in more than one hundred countries. People of the country or state rule themselves through their own elected persons. Theoretically there is no coercion, nor cheating, no compulsion and no punishment as the rulers are appointed by the people. But it is observed that elected leaders cheat the people and enjoy life at the cost of the hungry people. They amass huge wealth by pocketing state wealth and borrowed funds of the state within a short period. In this manuscript, we have explained ‘Democracy and Peace'.
