What is a bamboo bottle? Bamboo bottles are crafted using top-notch bamboo plants that offer antibacterial qualities and assist in keeping the water’s nutritional worth. Bamboo Bottles are typically fashioned out of Bhaluka, a type of bamboo, and crafting a single bottle can take around 5-6 hours. This is one of the reasons why they are relatively expensive to purchase, as several steps are involved in their manufacturing process. The process begins by cutting and boiling the Bhaluka, drying and smoking it. The following steps include assembling the various parts of the bottle and then carefully polishing it to completion. The boiling stage helps to purify and strengthen the material, ensuring the bottle can be used for at least 18 months.
