‘Digesting these sayings is the same as coming Home.` – Radha ‘Mooji is unique by his enormous intention that absolutely knows you can fully receive his pointing. And he has an immense sincerity, which is completely infused within his words. It is this overpowering sincerity which infects the reader, and moves him or her to watch as his words strike the human instrument and merge it into its essence.’ – Richard Miller, Presenter of Never Not Here, Chicago TV ‘Writing on Water embodies the heart of Mooji’s timeless pointing and presence. In some sayings, his words invoke the compassion of the Buddha; in others, we feel the selfless love of Jesus, or the humility of St. Francis. Always, we are thrown back into the Self-revealing wisdom of Sri Ramana Maharshi and Sri Poonjaji. Mooji’s words, like himself, are pure Grace.’ – Christopher Claudius, Channel 7 Media ‘Writing on Water is a collection of sayings and poems, interspersed with Zen-style drawings. Step within and enter the realm of Unknowing... open the book at random, dip into its richness, and on every page, you will encounter a doorway to wisdom and Truth.’ -Batya Swift Yasgur, author of Behind the Burqa and America: A Freedom Country About the Author Anthony Paul Moo-Young, known as Mooji, was born on January 29, 1954 in Port Antonio, Jamaica. In 1969, he moved to the UK and presently resides in Brixton, London. He worked in London`s `West end` as a street portrait artist for many years, then as a painter and a stained glass artist, and later as a teacher at Brixton College. For a long time, he was well-known as Tony Moo, but is now affectionately known as Mooji by the many seekers and friends who visit him. Mooji is a direct disciple of Sri Harilal Poonja (or Papaji as he is lovingly called by his followers), the renowned Aadvaita master. Since 1999, Mooji has been sharing satsang in the form of spontaneous encounters, retreats, satsang intensives and one-to-one meetings with seekers who visit him, from all parts of the world, in search of the direct experience of truth. Few amongst the modern teachers of the Advaita tradition expound the `knowledge of Self`, and the method of self-enquiry, with such dazzling clarity, love and authority. He also travels regularly to Ireland, Spain, Italy, Germany, Brasil, North America and India where he is ever open to meeting sincere seekers of truth, whatever their background. He is also the author of Before I Am.
