The kitchen light is bright enough to add good illumination when cooking - and it is perfect for under the kitchen cabinet to illuminate the counter where you do meal prep. The very slim dimensions mean that it's completely hidden behind the small valence above the stove. The LED light for shelf is very thin, easy to hide and almost invisible. The bright shelf lighting can emit beautiful light to make the shelf look more attractive and give you a "surprise" feel. If you have a standup desk and it is hard to see the keyboard. This cabinet led light bar works out perfectly. You just mount it above the keyboard on sliding keyboard shelf under desktop and it works out great.
