In the 1980s, as I transitioned from adolescence to adulthood, poetry emerged from some unknown corner of my heart. This collection of poems is a small representation of those feelings, experiences, and thoughts, which I have attempted to put into words. I have attempted to express the various shades of life—joy, sorrow, love, hope, and struggle—through these poems.I have tried to keep the language simple and symbolic, so that every reader can connect with these poems. My aim has been not only to convey poetic beauty but also to share sensitivity.
