Parijat (Harsingar) is a small perennial tree or large shrub with gray flaky bark.It produces fragrant white flowers with bright orange-red centers, blooming mostly at night.Flowers fall in the morning, carpeting the ground beautifully.Leaves are rough, opposite, simple, and used in Ayurveda for medicinal purposes.Plant height can range from 10–15 feet when matured.
