She is a Visiting Faculty/Fellow at Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi since 1997 and currently working as Research Scientist in the Department of Medicine, V.P. Chest Institute , University of Delhi. She is an eminent scientist and is recipient of DST Young Scientist Award and Award of Highest Honour of the Soka University, Japan.
