Dr. Ramakrishnan has written extensively on fisheries economics and environmental issues in national and international academic journals and leading newspapers. The present work on the political economy of unsustainable development of Indian fisheries is his latest contribution. Dr. Ramakrishan's writings are known for their theoretical under-pinning and expository qualities.
