Description:- , About The Author:- Mr. Jash Raj Subba, a post graduate in Agricultural Science from IARI, New Delhi, is a prolific writer of the Eastern Himalaya Region. Born in 1949 at Hee, one of the villages of Sikkim joined Agriculture Service in the Government of Sikkim in 1975. He held a number of posts during 32 years of his service period and contributed a lot of the development of agriculture and horticulture in mountainous Sikkim. He retired in 2007 as Principal Director (Natural Resource Management), Government of Sikkim. He has written, edited and published 21 (twenty-one) boks so far and contributed a number of articles ranging from agriculture, horticulture, history, culture, anthrogy, sociology, religion, philosophy, biodiversity to sustainable development of mountainous Sikkim.
