The writer of temple histories, Shri Perinad Sadanandan Pillai is retired Headmaster, who had served in Mampuzha School, Kollam district. Presently he is the chairman of the M.K.K. Nair Smaraka Samskarika Kendram Pakalkuri, Thiruvananthapuram. He had got Pala Trust award in 1992 for his work, “Kuttikalude Nethaji” and Teachers Cultural & Literary Award in 1999 for his work, “Jaihind" and Attukal Bhagavathy temple Trust Krishnayana Award in 2014 Balakrishna Ashramam Mahalekshmi Temple Trust Award in in 2015 for his work Bharathathile Mahakshethrangal.
