The pursuit of happiness is natural to (wo)man. According to the Wisdom of the Mystics, life was created out of the Bliss Principle. It was established in the principle of Balance in each animate and inanimate entity. In (wo)man, the search for happiness has taken many forms depending on the quality of individual perception. Most often, human perception is partial, limited as it is by the range of human senses. So, the pursuit of happiness in man ironically enough leads him/her away from the honeycomb of Bliss lying right within him/her.The thoughts scripted in this book intend to provoke the reader to question and to think. It is only when one questions that one finds the answers. The answers of today are the religions of tomorrow. As innovations find popular acceptance, they turn into practices and customs that define religions. Most often, the underpinning thought of a custom or convention gets lost in the process of its diffusion. With the disappearance of the kernel of thought from a custom, it becomes wooden and resistant to changes in lifestyle. It is then that a need arises yet again to question and to redeem the vision from its practice.Man stands now at the crossroads of history. He has to choose between a mind-less persistence with the familiar and a breaking out from the conventional into the open skies of new thinking. Truth needs to be reborn so that the vision of the mystics of the past is resurrected in the idiom of the present. And hence, this bouquet of tantalising thoughts in a new idiom of thought and belief.
