About the Author Madhu Vottery was born in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She studied architecture at the Government College of Architecture, Lucknow, and architectural conservation at SPA, Delhi. She briefly worked with the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage in Bangalore. A practicing architect, she is also involved in documenting the historic structures of Hyderabad.
