Charley Lambert is quite the workaholic and has all that she needs. One day, she loses her job and a lot of other things with it. Just when she thinks she has lost it all, she finds love. Summary of the Book This is a beautiful story about Charley Lambert who finds love when she least expects to find it. She has everything that she wants in life: a great flat, a job of international importance, and a great pair of legs because of her strict fitness routine. All of this combines to create the perfect life for her and she has worked very hard for it. To top it all, her boss asks her out after seven years of flirting and a little incident in the mop cupboard. Suddenly, a series of unfortunate events take place. She breaks her leg, watches her boss propose to another person, and the worst is when she has to hand over her job to her deputy. Being a workaholic, she fears that she is going to go mad. Out of boredom, Charley starts to help people who are not very talented when it comes to internet dating. Here, she discovers William who brings her much joy and happiness, and she soon finds herself falling in love with him. She realizes that she isn’t the person she thought she was, but isn’t sure if she can turn her back on the life she used to live for the sake of one person.
