A Thousand Love Letters, written by Shwetabh Gangwar, is a romantic novel which brings out the myriad faces of love, faith and non-belief. Summary of the Book A Thousand Love Letters tries to understand the enigmatic emotions that whirl around love. Ayan is deeply in love with Sara. But Sara is unaware of this fact although she strongly believes in the idea of love for life. Ayan chooses to pursue his dreams and ambitions in life, but when he has his moments of solitude and thinks of Sara, he writes a letter each time. However, he sends none of them to her. This continues for seven long years. In the meanwhile, a nihilist friend of Ayan, Mezz, doesn’t even acknowledge the existence of love and proclaims that humans pretend to be someone else unless they meet with deepest of despair or fear. Will Sara come to know of Ayan’s love for her? Will Mezz try to change his perspective? What has the destiny in store for Ayan?
