Aachman Veda Suvarna Prashan Suvarna Prashan means the process of administration of ash of gold with honey and other herbal extracts in semi liquid form. Suvarnaprashana is also known by other names like, Swarna Prashana, Swarna Bindu Prashana, Swarnamritha Prashan, Hiranya Prashana, Suvarnaprashana and Suvarna Prashan. It is one of the essential rituals described in Ayurveda for development of growth, memory and immunity in children. Suvarna Prashan is a natural, time tested method to improve overall health of children practiced for more than 5000 years. Ingredients of Suvarna Prashan: Ash of gold, Ghee, Honey and Herbal extract of medicinal plants like Vacha (Acorus Calamus), Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus-Pluricaulis), Brahmi (Bacopa Monnieri) & Sonth (Zingiber officinale) Age of children who can take Suvarna Prashan: From the birth up to the age of 16 years. However, the specific age of giving Suvarna prashan is not described in Ayurvedic texts, but the early administration of Suvarna prashan is greatly helpful for building immunity and intelligence.
