Her area of interest is optical fiber communication and antenna and wave propagation theory. She is a member of IEEE IMAPS and ISTE and recipient of the awards like JRF/SRF UGC. She has published two laboratory manuals  one on ‘advanced communication’and the other on ‘analog communication’. Currently she is working on research projects from DRDOIEEE and VGST. R. Bhargava Rama Gowd is Assistant Professor Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering the Oxford College of Engineering Bangalore. He has experience in the fields of analog communication and digital communication. He is the member of IEEE has attended many conferences and workshops in the field of communication and recently presented a paper on optical communication organized by VTU and IEEE Photonics.
