Jarkan is the colloquial term derived from the English word- 'Zircon'. Over course of time, the word has taken its form due to mis-pronunciation. Zircon is used as a Planetary stone for Venus in astrology. Natural Zircon stone is often confused with Cubic-Zirconia (CZ) stone as both of them are referred to as 'Jarkan' in general trade language. However, both are entirely different stones.
