The book has been designed for the students of BSc first semester (Core) and BSc second semester (Generic) classes of Indian Universities based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). A large number of high graded ques- tions, which appeared numerous times in Indian University examinations and other standard competitive examinations are presented in the book. For instance, the questions that appeared in Rajiv Gandhi university (A Central University) under graduate examinations have been particularly marked. At the end of each chapter, exercise questions based on solved problems are presented.
