Quatrains are four-line poems about topics as diverse as insomnia and table manners. Meditation of the Heart comprises of poems that range from the admiration of the Russian poet, Irina Ratushinskaya, to the title poem of this volume. About Vikram Seth Vikram Seth is an Indian novelist and poet, and has written several novels and poetry books. Some of the awards that he has won are: Padma Shri, Pravasi Bharatiya Samman, WH Smith Literary Award, and Crossword Book Award. Some of his notable works include: A Suitable Boy, The Golden Gate, An Equal Music, and A Suitable Girl.
