"An Ode to Lost Childhood" is a collection of poetry dedicated to the lost childhood of many, to growing up too fast and too soon, to responsibilities that were premature, to "early adulthood". It’s a tribute to every child that had to go through a rather topsy-turvy ride while growing up - a broken home, deprivation, losses that did not make much sense then. An ode to you - I hear you, I see you, and I feel you. An ode to the emotions that took a toll on you, to your unfathomable courage and perseverance to make it through the tunnel. I hope this tells you that your experiences - no matter how ugly, are all shared. They transcend the boundaries of places that you may not even know but just know that they are there. I hope you know it, feel it, and experience it as you journey through this collection.
