It is probably the most popular style of ear wire worldwide. The basic fishhook with ball and coil is used in countless applications. It is attractive, secure and comfortable, even for heavier earrings. All have a coil, a hoop towards the bottom to dangle items off of and a ball that measures approximately 3 mm (1/8") in diameter. Each measures approximately 19 x 8.5 mm (3/4" x 5/16")
