This text is the classic work in Antenna Theory and Design and is just as relevant to the field today as it was when first published in 1981. It provides an analytic treatment, with supporting experimental evidence, of the major topics of concern to antenna designers. This is a broad-ranging text that covers most of the relevant topics in antenna theory providing fundamental methods of analysis that can be used to predict the electromagnetic behaviour of nearly everything that radiates. This stress on the fundamentals is what makes the text valuable twenty-one years after its first publication. It not only presents the theory, but goes on to show very insightful examples of its application to real design problems.
