She shows how his generation of poets became modern Indian writers and discusses how their lineage rooted in strong oral tradition encourages their transformation. About Laetitia Zecchini Laetitia Zecchini is a researcher and permanent staff member at the CNRS in Paris, France. She has also translated Kolatkar's Kala Ghoda Poems into French and is involved in the study of the politics of literature, on postcolonial criticism, non-western modernisms, dalit literatures and South Asian literary history.
