She is engaged in teaching and research activity for last ten years. She has contributed a number of research articles, published in leading journals both within and outside the country. In her pursuit, she has also written two books 'Triumph and trials of School education in Sikkim' and 'Handbook on Environmental Education' for B Ed and M Ed students. The books have received commendations from the readers.
