The book presents the topics of control engineering in a relative easy language, which is of great importance for the beginners. It is compulsory for every student to start with the basic concepts and gradually reach to the competitive level. This book includes competitive objective type questions at the end of each chapter. Ghosh Professor in Electrical Engineering, Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Technology and former Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Calcutta. His fields of interest include Modelling of Continuous and Discontinuous Systems of Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Microprocessor applications in the area of Monitoring, Control, Protection and Instrumentation. Dr. Samarjit Sengupta is a Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering Department of Applied Physics, University of Calcutta. His fields of interest include Power System Operation, Control and Protection. He has published a number of technical papers in national and international journals.
