The objective of this book is to provide an opportunity to the library and information personnel to acquire adequate professional knowledge and skills specially in using computers to perform information work and to render information services in any kind of information service system or centre including libraries of all kinds. About the Author R.K.SHUKLA is presently working in the Central Water Commission as Chief Librarian/ADO. Born in a village (Khesahan) of district Fatehpur (U.P.), he completed his early education in the village school and at District head-quarters. He received his graduate, post-graduate and Library Science degrees from Lucknow University and Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Annamalai University. He has contributed 22 articles in various journals and conferences/seminars. He has participated in and organised various seminars/conferences.
