About Vasant Lad Vasant Dattatray Lad is an Indian-American writer, Ayurvedic physician and the professor and director of the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A graduate of the University of Pune, where he obtained his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery degree, he later obtained a Master of Ayurvedic Science (M.A.Sc.) in 1980 from Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya in Pune.
