“National Conference on Ayurvedic Concept of Diet & Nutrition” was being organised by Haridwar unit of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad on 28th -29th June 2020. Diet and nutrition is a very vast subject to be studied and researched in different aspects. Ayurveda has given a great emphasis on diet and food in respect of etiology and treatment of various diseases. Food is considered as one of three important sub-pillars of life i.e Ahara, Nidra, Bharmcharya. Ancient Indian scholars have given a great importance to food and nutrition to maintain good physical as well as mental wellbeing. Aims and objectives of this conference was to point out and highlight the important facts of food in Ayurveda classics, as well as to explore the knowledge and experience of eminent scholars.
