Rajesh Kharche presently working in Agriculture credit and policy group in India's largest private sector bank. He gained expertise in rural and agriculture banking in public sector bank and new generation private sector banks over 18 years. He worked in difference capacities from field level to zonal level and been part of sales, credit and policy team within organization. His thorough understanding of agriculture banking and its issues, helped organization in improvement in its processes, policies, monitoring, portfolio size and risk diversification. The author has successfully implemented various innovative ideas for improvement of product line and deliverable of field team. In his assignment with public sector bank he helped to set up agriculture finance rural branches of bank in Maharashtra. He successfully represented bank in various government forum on agriculture finance.
