Big Nate Strikes Again published in 2011 is a hilarious American comic strip about a boy named Nate Wright. He is a sixth grader who is a prankster, and deliberately stirs up trouble on a regular basis. He is known for his aimless doodles, and is a strong believer of fortune cookies. Due to his mischievous nature, he is not his teacher’s pet. But on the other hand, he is also a brilliant lad with much potential and believes that he is destined for greatness. He always wanted to be a great soccer player. Nate is full of fun as ever, and trouble arises when he is paired up with his enemy, Gina, for his social project. Gina always pretends to be overly perfect, which greatly annoys Nate. Moreover, he’s chosen as the Fleeceball captain. Once he finds out that Gina is on his team, his thrill fades away. With the project and the play, a question arises as to whether Nate would pass or fail, or win or lose. Big Nate Strikes Again is the second installment of the Big Nate series. The book is filled with humor that appeals to readers of all ages.   Lincoln Peirce created the comic series, Big Nate. He was born on October 23, 1963, and started inventing his own characters when he was a sixth grader. He attended the Colby College in Maine, where he pursued a career as a cartoonist. He also taught art and coached basketball. At present, he lives in Portland with his family.
