The book is filled with humor that appeals to readers of all ages. Lincoln Peirce created the comic series, Big Nate. He was born on October 23, 1963, and started inventing his own characters when he was a sixth grader. He attended the Colby College in Maine, where he pursued a career as a cartoonist. He also taught art and coached basketball. At present, he lives in Portland with his family.
