The terms ‘Blood’ and ‘Bone’ give a whole new purpose and meaning to a patient who gets diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. The uncertainty that revolves around this disease right from the diagnosis phase to the treatment phase is enough to subject the patient to a whole new level of physical and mental agony. This book is a detailed account of the author’s battle with Multiple Myeloma and is written through a patient’s perspective. While a plethora of information on Multiple Myeloma is available on the internet, an account of actual experience by a Myeloma patient is difficult to find as many patients prefer not to share it with others. Although some patients do take efforts in posting their experience on various blogs, these fall short at times as the depiction fails to paint a clear picture. The author attempts to address the above issue through this book by sharing actual reports and scans during his diagnosis and treatment.
