About Osho The author of this book, Osho, was a renowned spiritual teacher who was well-known across the globe for his teachings. Apart from this book, the author has also written Joy: The Happiness That Comes From Within, Pharmacy For The Soul , Glimpses of a Golden Childhood, and Autobiography Of A Spiritually Incorrect Mystic. He was born on the 11th of December 1931, as Chandra Mohan Jain. In the year 1951, he joined Hitkarini College, Jabalpur, but had to join another university as a result of friction between him and the instructor. He joined D.N. Jain College, Jabalpur, but was barred from attending regular college, and appeared for exams alone, due to his quarrelsome nature. However, he completed his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the university, followed by a master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Sagar. He also served as a professor at Jabalpur University, teaching Philosophy. His teachings as a guru revolved around joy, love, meditation, celebration, creativity, courage, and humor. He passed away on the 19th of January 1990, in Pune, Maharashtra.
